Link Your Alert Account With WVU Login

Students may now access the WVU emergency alert system using WVU Login. This change enables students to manage their alert subscription details directly, using the same credentials that are required for other WVU systems.

To access the emergency alert system, first complete the following steps to link your existing e2campus account with your WVU Login.
  1. Visit the WVU student e2campus login link.
  2. Enter your WVU Login credentials on the WVU Login form when prompted.
  3. On the following page under "Existing User Account", enter your original WVU Alert username (MIX username) and alert password (first 4 digits of MIX username and last 4 digits of cell number) and click the button to link your account. This step is only required while logging in for the first time.
  4. Once you have successfully linked your account you will be logged into the emergency alert system, where you can manage your cell number and email addresses on the Services tab, and access the opt-out option on the Account tab if necessary.
After successfully linking you account as described above, you will login normally on subsequent visits to manage your WVU Alert account settings using the WVU student e2campus login link.
